The mediator's role is not to judge, influence, or pursuade either party, so it is imperative that parties come to mediation in good faith and with honest intent.
Because mediations can take on many formats, an in-take process may be scheduled after an initial consultation to determine which approach is most conducive to a win-win outcome.
